Yasser Alobaidan
Chief Executive Officer,
NAVER Innovation

Yasser Alobaidan is the Chief Executive Officer of Naver Innovation, where he leads initiatives to shape the digital future of cities and communities across Saudi Arabia. A visionary leader with a strong commitment to innovation and sustainability, Yasser focuses on building scalable smart city ecosystems aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, ensuring technology enhances everyday life and drives meaningful societal impact.

He concurrently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Balady and NHC Innovation, where he leads the national digital transformation of municipal services across the Kingdom. In these roles, he oversees a workforce of more than 700 professionals and drives major national initiatives, including the development of advanced digital twin platforms in collaboration with global technology partners. Under his leadership, these platforms are expanding into navigation, lifestyle, and community services that connect residents, businesses, and government agencies.

Prior to his current roles, Yasser spent over 13 years at Jawraa, serving as CEO and later as Chairman. During his tenure, he managed full P&L responsibilities across five business units and achieved key milestones, including the establishment of Etihad Jawraa, securing Saudi Arabia’s first MVNO license, and launching cloud-based managed IT services for government entities.

Yasser’s expertise spans digital transformation, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and smart city technologies. He also serves as a Board Member of the Web3 Alliance of Saudi Arabia (WASA), where he contributes to the advancement of emerging digital technologies. Through his leadership, Yasser continues to build partnerships and digital ecosystems that support sustainable growth and innovation across the region.
